Vacuum arc melting (VAR) or plasma melting (PAM) technology is used to ensure a low impurity content of titanium ingots (oxygen content <0.2%) and avoid embrittlement of grain boundaries.

Thermoforming Process
Hot Forging: Forging is carried out above the β phase change temperature (about 950°C) to refine the grain (ASTM grade 5-7) and improve the mechanical properties.
Rolling & Drawing: Titanium bars are produced by multi-pass hot rolling, and grain orientation is controlled to optimize strength.

Heat Treatment Intensification
The "duplex treatment" of solution treatment (900-950 °C water quenching) and aging (500-600 °C) is used to precipitate fine α phase particles in the β phase, and the strength is increased by 20%-30%.

Precision Machining Challenges
Titanium has poor thermal conductivity (only 1/6 of steel), so it needs to be machined at low speed and high feed, and high-cobalt carbide tools are used with high-pressure coolant to prevent work hardening.
