Titanium alloy screw is broken how to take out

Titanium alloy screw broken can be taken out by the following methods ‌ :

‌ Use pliers ‌ : If there is still a certain length at the screw break, you can hold the severed end with pliers, and then turn the pliers clockwise or counterclockwise to unscrew the screw. This method works for most screws, but care needs to be taken not to exert too much force so as not to damage the screw itself or cause finger injury. ‌

‌ Drill a hole with a drill ‌ : If the diameter of the screw break is large, you can drill a hole in the screw with a drill bit, and then use a tap or a milling cutter to cut off the thread, and finally use pliers or hand to remove the screw. This method is suitable for screws with large diameters, but it needs to maintain sufficient stability during operation to prevent the bit from breaking or the tap from slipping.

‌ Use reverse tap extractor ‌ : First make a hole in the broken screw with a drill bit, then insert the reverse tap extractor into the hole and turn it in the reverse direction. An electric drill or wrench can be used to assist, and the broken screw can be snapped through the reverse thread, and then easily removed. ‌

‌ Use lubricating oil ‌ : Apply lubricating oil to the screw break and let it penetrate for a period of time to reduce friction. Then use a small chisel to slowly knock out in the reverse direction of the fracture, and remember to clean up the debris at the fracture in time. ‌

‌ Use a magnet ‌ : for magnetic screws, you can use a magnet to absorb the broken end, so that it gradually exposed, and finally use pliers or hand to remove the screw. This method is only suitable for screws with magnetic properties.

‌ Use tape ‌ : If the screw break is very smooth, try to tape it out. Stick the tape on the fracture, so that it is close to the surface of the thread, and then gently press the tape with your hand or pliers, so that it is subjected to a certain pressure, and finally slowly tear off the tape, and the severed head will be pulled out with the tape. This method may require several attempts, and the damage to the thread surface is greater.

‌ Use electric tools ‌ : For some screws that are difficult to remove, you can use electric tools (such as drill, Angle grinder, etc.) to remove them. First adjust the power tool to the appropriate speed and feed speed, and then align the tool head to the center of the thread, gently turn the tool, and finally use pliers or hand to unscrew. This method requires a certain amount of skill and experience.
