On August 15, Shaanxi Tiancheng Aviation Materials Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Tiancheng Aviation Materials") completed the first hot load test of the titanium alloy bar and wire production line, marking the official completion of China's first aviation-grade titanium alloy bar and wire production line, which promoted the high-quality development of the titanium industry.
In 2015, Tiancheng Aviation Materials began to investigate user needs and analyze market trends. In 2018, the titanium alloy bar and wire production line began to be deployed. In 2020, the production line successfully completed a full-pass one-time hot load test. The successful operation of this production line can achieve continuous temperature control and rolling of aviation-grade high-quality titanium alloy bars and wires, with a high level of automation, scalable processes, and strong flexibility. This is the first domestic full-continuous rolling process production line for bars and wires, which has broken the shortcomings of backward domestic titanium alloy bar and wire production technology and unstable quality production, and has also broken through the international related technology blockade, raising the domestic titanium alloy bar and wire production level to be comparable to international peers. In addition, under the condition of complex process route and large proportion of first-set equipment, the Tiancheng project team only took 7 days to achieve successful hot load test, and ran at the international level with the extremely fast "Tiancheng speed".
